Jufuku-ji Temple is a Rinzai Zen temple founded by Hōjō Masako during the Kamakura period, and is the third of the Kamakura Gozan (Five Great Zen Temples). The temple, established by the founder Myōan Eisai, houses a seated statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and a large Niō (guardian) statue.
